This is a project that truly became a labor of love for us at Tribunal Records. Bradenton, Florida’s THE CHASE THEORY is, in our opinion, one of the most underrated rock bands in existence right now. From the moment we heard “ Pharaohs & Kings” (as featured on one of the now famed Deep Elm Records: Emo Diaries compilation series) we were hooked for life. Their delivery is unlike any other band out now; it’s extremely powerful yet remains potent, melodically. Catchy vocal harmonies and solidly crafted, emotionally rooted songs are what set this band apart from the norm. Their debut release, Scrapbook has been out of print for years and we believe this to be a serious injustice to the band and more so to their ever expanding legion of fans. So we set out to remedy this situation and now we are proud to present the world with THE CHASE THEORY Scrapbook | 1998-2001 which is a collection of the band’s favorite songs from their debut album as well as some previously unreleased material which includes a cover of Jawbreaker’s “Accident Prone.” All tracks have been newly re-mastered by Jamie King (Prayer For Cleansing, BTBAM, Beloved & Glass Casket) at The Basement Studios.
